Sklar Edge™ Tungsten Carbide Metzenbaum-Lahey Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. Metzenbaum-Lahey scissors tend to be shorter than traditional Metzenbaum scissors. Sklar Edge™ Tungsten Carbide Scissors provide an exceptionally hard and durable cutting edge. These scissors are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other non tungsten carbide scissors. Sklar permanently bonds the tungsten carbide inserts to the blade of the scissors which maximizes control and precision as well. Sklar Edge™ scissors are differentiated from other scissors by the handle of two gold coated finger rings. This product has curved, smooth, blunt tips, and an overall length of 5-3/4 inches.
