Supercut Sklarhone™ Lister Bandage Scissors are a versatile instrument with multiple uses. They are commonly used for sizing dressings and removing circumferential bandages. They may also be used to cut tougher material such as plaster, fabric and occasionally umbilical cord. The jaws of the Lister Bandage Scissors are angled with the lower blade being slightly longer. The tip of the lower blade features a flattened blunt nodule that is intended to slide between bandages and skin without harming the skin. This feature allows Lister Bandage Scissors to occasionally be used during cesarean section to open the uterus without causing inadvertent injury to the baby. Ring handles can be equal in size or with one ring larger. Supercut Sklarhone™ scissors combine one knife-like razor edge and one micro-serrated scissor edge. These scissors can be used to cut both delicate and heavy tissue because of their unique design. The micro-serrations of the Supercut Sklarhone™ scissors minimize tearing of tissue so cuts and edges are smooth and clean. Sklarhone™ instruments are identified by dual black finger rings. This product is angled has one razor edge blade, one micro-serrated edge blade, blunt tips, and an overall length of 7-1/4 inches.
