Sklar® Macintosh Laryngoscope Blades are used for direct, rigid laryngoscopy procedures to view vocal cords, remove foreign objects from the throat, biopsy, or tracheal intubation. This product is a fiber-optic, #2 American Style Macintosh blade. In general, Macintosh laryngoscope blades are curved. American Style Macintosh blades are slightly shorter than English Style Macintosh blades. These fiber-optic blades follow the Green System of fiber-optic compatibility, which is indicated by a green bar where the blade attaches to a fiber-optic handle.
