Sklar's® Low Profile Cardiology Stethoscope features a single, zinc alloy chest piece. The low profile design allows the user to apply greater pressure to the diaphragm, creating a better acoustic seal resulting in more accurate identification of what is being heard. The cardiology stethoscope also has thicker, shorter 2-in-1 tubing compared to a standard stethoscope. This provides a shorter distance for the sounds to travel and decreases interference of curled tubing that can occur with longer stethoscopes. The user can hear both high and low frequency sounds, specifically those identified with the heart such as blood flow, clicks, and murmurs. This stethoscope comes with 2 additional sets of ear tips and 1 additional diaphragm. It measures 28 inches overall and has black PVC tubing.
