Sklar's® DeLee-Hillis Obstetrical Stethoscope, also known as the DeLee-Hillis Fetoscope, features a metal headband attached to a common binaural stethoscope by a rigid metal arm which allows the user to be hands free while listening to a fetal heartbeat during an examination. The original intent with this design was to allow the obstetrician to be more prepared for impending delivery.
