Sensaphone IMS-4862E IMS Solution Series Smoke Detection Sensor

The IMS Smoke Detection Sensor is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS system to monitor for the presence of smoke. When the sensor detects smoke, it will trigger the Sensaphone to go into alarm and also sound an audible horn. The connection from the sensor to the IMS system can use an existing CAT5 network wiring infrastructure, which powers the sensor and allows it to be installed in locations away from the IMS host device.

• Uses a photoelectric smoke sensing unit
• Uncommon for household smoke such as cigarette smoke or normal cooking smoke to cause an alarm
• Sends Sensaphone into alarm when smoke is detected
• Required RJ45 patch cable powers and connects sensor to Sensaphone
