A Hex Nipple is a short pipe length with Male pipe threads on both ends of the pipe nipple. It has a Hexagon Bolt Shape in-between the threads for easy tightening and loosening.

Hexagonal nipples are pipe fittings featuring a hexagonal (six-sided) shape in the center of the fitting between the male threads on either end.
