A bell reducer is a threaded reducing coupling that features female threads of different sizes on either end. It is a bell shaped fitting with a smaller diameter opening on one end, and a larger diameter opening on the other.
Uses:
- A Bell Reducer Coupler, also referred to as a threaded reducing coupling, is used to reduce or increase a pipe thread size.
- Used to connect two pipes of different diameter sizes.
Advantages: These threaded pipe reducers decrease the pipe size from a larger bore to a smaller bore in a smooth uniform manner unlike the sharp change in size of the Reducing Bushing.
Installation:
- Thread the larger female threads onto the same size male threads, to decrease the female thread size.
- Thread the smaller female threads onto the same size male threads, to increase the female thread size.
Material: Stainless Steel 304.
