Overview
Analytical Balances for temperature-insensitive materials up to max. 360°C / weighing range 220 g / adjustable heating temperature / 4-inch LC display / 4-digit device ID / software (optional)
The Analytical Balances is a special device for temperature-insensitive materials with a maximum drying temperature of up to 360 °C. It is ideal for applications in raw material extraction, production, processing, research and recycling, as well as especially for building materials such as cement, concrete and gravel and the chemical industry, including powders, granulates and pastes. With a maximum sample weight of 220 g and a high measuring resolution of 0.001 g, it enables precise moisture measurement.
The operating principle is based on drying with simultaneous weighing, whereas the weight loss is continuously recorded and displayed as a percentage of the total mass. With a heater output of 375 W and an adjustable heating temperature of 105 °C to 360 °C, the Analytical Balances ensures quick, precise drying, even with challenging materials. Parameters such as % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture bd as well as g residual weight / kg and residual weight are available for the measurement evaluation, allowing the sample to be analysed in detail.
An automatic power-off function stops the drying process automatically when a constant weight is reached. The automatic power-off can be controlled via three adjustable criteria: sampling start, sampling interval and weight loss per sampling interval, allowing flexible and precise control of the process. The Analytical Balances also has a timer that can be set from 1 to 180 minutes. The menu lock protects against accidental adjustment of the parameters and can be secured by a PIN whereas calibration mode (CAL) remains accessible. The balance also has a programme memory with up to 9 memory locations to store and quickly call up different drying profiles.
Data can be transferred to a PC via a software which must be purchased separately. All data can also be output via the serial RS-232 interface and USB. The Analytical Balances guarantees GLP-compliant documentation. The data is output via the Data Bridge software as the balance does not have a built-in printer. The balance also has a 4-digit device ID for unique identification of the device, which enables precise allocation of the measurement data.
With its robust design and ability to reach high drying temperatures, the Analytical Balances is a reliable device for moisture analysis and process control in various industrial and scientific applications.
