PCE Instruments PCE-RCM 6 Carbon Monoxide Meter (Measurement of CO, Temperature, Humidity)

A Carbon Monoxide Meter is an indispensable device for monitoring indoor air quality. It can be used in various areas, such as homes, offices, workshops, schools or public facilities. The Carbon Monoxide Meter reliably measures the ozone content in the air and helps to recognize dangerous concentrations at an early stage and react accordingly.

The device records ozone values in the range of 0.00 ... 50.0 ppm with a high resolution of 0.01 ppm. In addition, the detector measures the relative humidity between 20 ... 85% (resolution: 1%) as well as the temperature in the range of -10 ... 50°C / 14 ... 122°F, whereby the temperature display can also be switched to Fahrenheit. All measured values are shown on an easy-to-read 2-inch LCD display with backlighting.

For even more convenience, the Carbon Monoxide Meter has a standby mode that can be activated manually. If no input is made within 60 seconds, the display switches off automatically - but the device remains active. In the event of increased ozone values, the detector warns with a visual and acoustic alarm. This is supported by a traffic light function: green for 0.00 ... 0.10 ppm, orange for 0.11 ... 0.20 ppm and red for 0.21 ... 50.0 ppm. As soon as the limit value of 0.10 ppm is exceeded, an additional acoustic warning signal sounds to indicate a possible hazard.

Equipped with an integrated rechargeable lithium battery that can be conveniently charged via USB-C, the detector is particularly flexible to use. An integrated rubber strap makes it easy to transport and allows the device to be conveniently carried or hung up. A Carbon Monoxide Meter is suitable for private individuals as well as for professionals in schools, care facilities, offices or industrial environments - wherever a safe indoor climate is important.
