PCE Instruments PCE-MSR 450 Magnetic Stirrer for Liquids Up to 20 l

The magnetic stirrer is a stirring instrument for up to 20 liters. The speed of the magnetic stirrer can be adjusted. It is possible to set speeds between 200 and 2200 revolutions per minute. These speeds can be set in steps of 10 revolutions per minute and are also changeable during operation of the magnetic stirrer. In addition to the stirring speed, it is also possible to set a timer. The user can run the magnetic stirrer between one and 999 minutes. In addition, continuous operation can be activated. The pulse mode can also be activated. Within a predefined time window, the magnetic stirrer then alternately stirs clockwise or counterclockwise. By default, the device will stir in a clockwise direction. In addition to the impulse function, the magnetic stirrer also has a slip detection mode.

The delivery includes a standard 25 mm / 0.98" stirring rod. A maximum of 60 mm / 2.36" is possible here to stir large volumes of liquid. With such a stirring rod the maximum amount of liquid that can be stirred is 20 liters. The slow start-up and the continuous increase of the set speed prevents splashes.
