PCE-CS 1000N is a digital, electronic, battery-powered crane scale that displays measurement values in kilograms (kg), pounds (lbs) and freely adjustable units. The scale comes factory calibrated and includes a hook, shackle and remote control. For an additional fee, the scale can be calibrated according to ISO standards.

The robust aluminum housing of this crane scale allows weighing in even the harshest indoor industrial environments. The crane scale is operated with three commercially available 1.5 V AA batteries, allowing for a continuous operating time of approx. 65 hours. The display of the crane scale is a backlit LCD screen featuring large, easy-to-read digits. The timing of the backlight of the crane scale's display can be adjusted to extend the operating time.

Other functions of the crane scale are: gross / net weighing, sum function, data hold function, zero function, power-saving automatic shutdown and the possibility to display a measuring unit that is freely adjustable by the user. This means that the user can store a conversion factor in the crane scale, so that the weighed product is not in kg or lbs, but in another measurement such as meters (e.g., 1 kg = 1.25 m). In addition, the crane scale features a linear calibration to ensure high accuracy.
