The small, compact Environmental Meter with transverse measuring probe works just as precisely as the large magnetic field meters. It is intuitive to operate and accurately measures direct and alternating fields as well as maximum values for pulsed fields. The Environmental Meter offers different measuring ranges and units of measurement such as A/cm, Gauss/Oersted and (milli)Tesla for every measuring task, so that you can find the ideal solution for your specific magnetic field measurements.

The practical Environmental Meter is available as a single-handed device with a transverse probe. The transverse field probe measures across the probe axis. Optimum areas of application are air gaps, cavities and the surface of workpieces for crack testing.

With a magnetic field meter, magnetometer, gaussmeter or tesla meter - all terms refer to the same measuring instrument - you can reliably recognize even the smallest differences in magnetic field strength when measuring magnetic fields. The Environmental Meter enables measurements from low field values just above the earth's magnetic field, through residual magnetism and remanence with low A/cm or Gauss/Oersted values to peak fields. The Environmental Meter or Gauss meter is particularly durable and provides reproducible field strength values for every magnetic field test. We also offer a calibration standard (reference magnet), which you can use to check and ensure the accuracy of your magnetic field tester at any time.
