Omicron SFTF25XB PTFE(Hydrophobic) Syringe Filter, 0.45 um, Non-sterile, 25 mm

These are single use products which consist of a hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter sealed in PP (Polypropylene) housing. They have wide chemical compatibility and chemically inert which makes them better for filtering more aggressive solutions. For filtering aqueous solutions, PTFE requires pre-wet with alcohol to establish flow with reasonable pressure differentials.
