Monitor process temperatures with this thermometer. The thermometer uses a bimetallic sensing element, which reacts measurably and consistently with temperature change.
The sensing element is made of two different metals welded together to form a coil which is enclosed in a stainless steel stem. When the stem is exposed to temperature change the coil expands or contracts and the pointer moves accordingly.
