Overview

The Merrill M-2000 Yard Hydrant is the only Merrill hydrant with a non-cast iron head. Made of DuPont's„¢ Zytel® ST Thermoplastic, the M-2000 offers a more forgiving head solution compared to its cast-iron counterparts. The fiber-reinforced Thermoplastic greatly reduces breakage, eliminates machining, and takes painting and corrosion out of the equation. The hydrant also boasts full lever control allowing for superior flow control from a trickle to a full rush and everywhere in between. Adjustments controlled by easily rusted set screws have been replaced with a pivot connector and nuts enabling you adjustability over the life of the hydrant. Our heavy-duty Celcon® valve body eliminates potential corrosion in all water conditions creating a long valve body life. A swivel part design enables users to remove the hydrant's internal parts for checking or replacement all without digging up the unit. The incorporated drain hole allows water to drain out creating confidence in year-round use in all climates.
