The GENESYS Matryx Interference Screw line introduces the latest advancements in proven Biocomposite material technology. The cutting edge GENESYS material is a result of 14 years of extensive research at the CONMED Biomaterials facility in Tampere, Finland. GENESYS utilizes a proprietary micro filtration process that yields β -TCP particles in their smallest form, known as microTCP. These proprietary micro TCP particles are uniformly embedded throughout 96L/4D PLA Bioabsorbable polymer, thereby delivering a stronger Biocomposite material. This technology enables reliable fixation during the healing period while promoting bone in-growth to aid in the restoration of patients' natural anatomy both biologically and mechanically.
