Slow-Drying Soft-Set Extra PTFE Thread Sealant

Features:

• Jomar's Heavyweight is a slow drying, soft setting, non-hardening industrial PTFE pipe thread compound. It will not transfer taste or odor to the system being sealed. Excellent for food and water systems. It is lead free, anti-galling, non-corrosive, nontoxic, and will not harden in can.

Directions:

• Do not dilute. Stir well before using. Clean threads. Brush liberally onto male threads only. Apply appropriate torque to joint as required. Joint may be subjected to pressure immediately after assembly.

Temperature and Pressure Ratings:

• Brushable to: -50°F (-45°C)
• Temperature Range: -50°F to 400°F (-45°C to 204°C)
• Pressure Ratings: Gas - 3000 PSI (211 kg/cm²); Liquid - 10,000 PSI (703 kg/cm²)
• VOC: 304 g/l
