Irrometer 200SS-VA3 Watermark Multi-Sensor 0 to 2.8VDC Adapter

The 200SS-VA3 Adapter reads up to three 200SS WATERMARK sensors and optionally one 200TS soil temperature sensor. The adapter handles the required sensor isolation and outputs the readings as 0 to 2.8V analog signals, making the sensors compatible with a wide range of data acquisition devices.

Internal calibration converts each WATERMARK sensor value into a voltage output directly proportional to soil water tension in centibars (kPa). When a 200TS soil temperature sensor is connected, temperature compensation is applied to the readings.

The adapter will read the connected sensors and after 500mS, output a voltage between 0 and 2.8 VDC for each sensor. The valid measurement range is between 0 and 2.8V. While continuously powered, the adapter will update each sensor channel on a five minute reading interval.

Output Scaling:

• Watermark: 0 to 239 centibars (kPa) scaled to 0 to 2.8VDC. Reading (kPa) = Volts / 0.0117
• Temperature: 20 °F to 132 °F (--6 °C to 56 °C) scaled 0.49 to 2.8VDC. Reading (°F) = 50.68 x (Volts - 0.490) + 20
