The Spin Dr tube rotator by IBI features an adjustable platform to accommodate tube racks and plates of various heights, from 0.825" to 6.5". The lead screw design ensures that any secured rack, up to 14" wide, remains centered during rotation. Lined with foam, the platform gently holds tube racks in place, maintaining stability throughout the process.

Efficient and Flexible Rotation

Operating at speeds between 3 rpm and 100 rpm, this tube rotator is ideal for use in CO2 incubators (up to 40°C) or cold rooms (down to 0°C). The Spin Dr supports a variety of tube sizes and 96-well plates, enhancing lab efficiency without the need to transfer tubes between racks and clamps.

Rotisserie-Style Tube Rotator for All Rack Types

The Spin Dr tube rotator accommodates nearly any tube rack, eliminating the need for transferring tubes to cumbersome clamp systems. With the ability to spin various tube sizes-from 2ml to 50ml-simply place your rack inside the Spin Dr and let it handle the rest. The Spin Dr. tube rotator is designed to operate in range of temperatures and environmental conditions. This unit can be operated inside a CO² incubator at 95% non-condensing humidity and inside a cold room or refrigerator. Operational temperatures are 0^o C to 40^o C. The unit can also be operated in ambient conditions on the laboratory counter.

Apps & Use:

The Spin Dr rotator is ideal for rotating large numbers of sample tubes or stacked plates. The universal/adjustable platform allows for the insertion of numerous sizes and types of tube holders or plates. This eliminates having to remove your tubes from the standard tube racks then attaching the tubes to a rotator rack or clamp system for mixing then removing them from the rack or clamp system and placing them back in your tube racks when completed. Just place your tube rack or plates in the platform, adjust the platform to hold your samples and rotate. Remove when finished.

The Spin Dr can be operated inside a cold room (0^o C) or a CO² incubator operating at 95% non-condensing humidity.
