Overview

IBI 10X PBST with TWEEN 20

The IBI 10X PBST solution is a high-quality, sterile buffer that contains sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, potassium phosphate, and potassium chloride, with 0.5% TWEEN 20. Sterile filtered using a 0.1 um filter, this solution is DNase, RNase, and protease free, ensuring optimal performance in sensitive applications. Sterility is validated using the USP <71> Test for Sterility, guaranteeing that the product meets the highest standards of purity and safety. This buffer is free from calcium, magnesium, phenol red, and sodium pyruvate, making it particularly suitable for immunoassay procedures such as Western Blotting and ELISAs in microtiter plate wells.

Filtration and bottling is done inside IBI's ISO 7 sterile suite inside a sterile fume hood.

Quality control is conducted on the finished product using fluorescence to determine nuclease activity (RNase, DNase and Protease) and a spectrophotometer utilizing specialized cartridges that are USP compliant and FDA approved for endotoxin testing. IBI's endotoxin testing device is also 21 CFR Part 11 compliant. Cartridge system utilizes the kinetic chromogenic LAL testing method specified in USP <85> or EP<2.6.14> with detection as low as 0.005 EU/ml.

Dubuque Made

Manufactured in state-of-the-art facility in Dubuque, Iowa, the IBI 10X PBST is prepared using water produced by IBI's high-output, pure water system, which generates endotoxin-free and nuclease-free water at a rate of 100 gallons per hour. This water forms the basis of all liquid blending production, ensuring the highest quality for your research needs. 1-liter bottle of concentrated 10X PBS solution with TWEEN 20 is an excellent choice for laboratories requiring reliable and consistent results in their immunoassay workflows.
