The IBI Scientific Belly Button® Shaker with Tube Mat is a space-efficient version of The Belly Dancer® shaker, designed to meet the needs of modern laboratories with limited bench space. With a compact 8" x 8" footprint and a height of only 5 inches, this orbital shaker provides a wide range of agitation conditions through its adjustable speed and platform pitch controls. The platform's flexible anchoring system combines gentle rocking with orbital shaking, making it an excellent tool for various applications such as cell culture, tissue culture, and membrane rinsing. Capable of holding up to 5 lbs, the Belly Button® Shaker operates quietly and is compatible with incubators and refrigerators, making it a versatile choice for a variety of laboratory settings.

Durable Construction and Advanced Features

Built from chemically resistant materials, including stainless steel and anodized aluminum, the Belly Button® Shaker is designed to withstand harsh laboratory environments. It features a removable, washable non-skid platform mat and a thin 115V power cord that prevents damage to incubator or refrigerator gaskets. The platform's pitch can be easily adjusted from a level motion to an 8° incline, providing the flexibility needed for a wide range of shaking intensities. With speeds ranging from 6 to 100 rpm and an ambient operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C, this shaker is perfect for tasks such as immunoprecipitation, gel staining, and cDNA amplification.

The Belly Button® Shaker unit has a 1" orbit and the max speed is 100 rpm.
