The Microtector II G450 was specifically developed for personal protection against gas dangers. Its sturdy design allows it to be used in a variety of applications, from the steel industry or refineries to sewer construction or the fire deparment. The compact multi-gas detector monitors up to four gases simultaneously. To reliably fulfill this purpose, the G450 can be equipped with a catalytic combustion sensor for combustible gases and vapors (0 to 100 % LEL) and three electrochemical sensors for toxic gases or oxygen.

The Microtector II G450 simultaneously monitors gases such as methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide and oxygen. GfG selection of different long-life sensors makes the multi-gas detector a reliable and versatile companion for daily work in environments with potential gas dangers.

Safety and operation

The Microtector II G450 is certified for use up to Ex zone 1. It is also protected against the ingress of water and dust according to protection class IP67, making the 4-gas detection device suitable for demanding applications. The housing made of rubberized polycarbonate protects the device from shocks and vibrations. Its award-winning design, low weight and the convenient crocodile clip ensure high wearing comfort. The device is operated using only three buttons and the color-backlit display. For better usability, the screen can be rotated by 180 degrees if the situation requires it.

Alarm and battery life

If a threshold is exceeded, the G450 will warn its wearer in three different ways: using a light signal, a loud horn (103 db(A)). The operating time depends on the battery module, the operating mode and sensor configuration, but can be up to 170 hours.

The package includes: G450 detector (MSHA Approved), smart pump (MSHA Approved), charger, specified sensors, calibration adapter, manual and CD.
