Overview

With display and alarm for flammable gases

The CC28 DA uses catalytic combustion (CC) to detect combustible gases and vapors such as methane, propane and hydrogen. The current measured value is displayed on the 2.2-inch display, which will light up red in the event of an alarm. The long-life sensors make the CC28 DA an economical solution for detecting Ammonia in the measurement range 0-4% volume. Integrated audible and visual alarms will save you the cost of additional explosion-proof alarm devices. Its automatic temperature compensation and the linearization of measuring signals ensure high measuring accuracy.

Functional safety and device protection

The CC28 DA is ATEX certified for use in Ex Zone 1 and its hardware complies with the European Functional Safety Standard DIN EN 61508-2: 2011 (SIL). Its housing is protected against ingress of dust and water (protection class: IP64). An optional weatherproof housing provides additional protection.

Communication and service

Signals are transmitted via the analog industry standard (4-20 mA). The transmitter indicates operating states using two status LEDs. Service and adjustments can be performed on site using only the very intuitive three buttons on the device (one-person adjustment). The pre-adjusted sensors use smart sensor technology and can thus be replaced very easily. The multicolor backlit display shows the current measured value, status notifications and the menu of the CC28 DA. Test gases for function tests can be inserted using a flow adapter.
