The FA30 Flame Arrester is used in combination with GfG's sampling systems type GMA-ASV for drawing samples from explosion endangered areas. It serves to prevent the propagation of flamepaths in case of stable detonations and deflagrations of combustible gas/vapor-air mixtures of explosion group IIC.
The Flame Arrester consists mainly of a pressure resistant enclosure with flanges for the gas supply and an internal sintered stainless steel disk.
