GENTEC® Gas Saving Flowmeter Regulators are designed to minimize the amount of shield gas wasted. The innovative design integrates a stabilizer onto the flowmeter providing constant pressure and flow. How it Works: GENTEC®'s Gas Saving Flowmeter Regulator first reduces the supplied pressure to a set pressure. To help save gas, a built-in stabilizer is designed on the flowmeter to eliminate pressure fluctuations. For example, during the start of MIG/TIG applications, a gas surge results from the excess pressure in the supply hose. These surges are regarded as "wasted gas". The Gas Saving Flowmeter Regulators use the built-in stabilizer on the flowmeter to reduce pressure surges while maintaining a constant pressure and flow, saving up to 50% of the gas.
