Brigade has compiled Direct Vision Standard (DVS) compliant kits to help you get compliant. These kits are suited for both articulated and rigid trucks. These kits include products for full DVS compliance, upgrading from 1 and 2 stars and for vehicles that already meet the 3-star requirement. If your vehicle is GSR compliant, then only a warning alarm and sticker will be required.

For customers who currently already comply to DVS Phase 1 (Safe Permit) but need to upgrade to the PSS (Progressive Safe System)

RP-010 - 77GHz Radar Predict sensor system with AI for left-hand drive vehicles

Radar Predict is an award-winning advanced collision prediction system specifically design ed to protect cyclists from collisions with HGVs. Using AI technology, the single dual-radar analyzes data such as the speed and direction of both the vehicle and the cyclist. By differentiating between static and moving objects, the Radar Predict algorithm alerts the driver when an impact with a cyclist is likely.

Ideal for articulated vehicles, Radar Predict incorporates a trailer discovery mode to eliminate false alerts when the vehicle is turning. This cutting-edge technology aids drivers by presenting visual cues via yellow warning LEDs and audible alerts, guaranteeing prompt intervention and the protection of road users from possible collisions.

The single dual-radar unit is fitted on the nearside of the truck and gives complete coverage to the side of the vehicle, including the trailer unit. The self-learning mode detects whether the vehicle is fitted with a trailer and prevents articulation causing false alerts. The driver is alerted if a cyclist enters the detection zone and receives a second warning if a collision is predicted.

FR-001DVS - DVS Front Radar Sensor System

Brigade's Front Radar sensor are specifically designed to meet the 2024 DVS requirements. DVS Front Radars are advanced dual-radar collision prediction systems with a 180° detection angle to the front of the vehicle. The driver is alerted via the front assist radar, through visual and audible signals if a vulnerable road user is detected in close proximity.
