DB9 A/B Switch - Latching, Remote Control, Dry Contact

A 6 position terminal strip on the rear of the unit provides remote control capability and accepts external dry contact closures as inputs for remote A/B switching.

Features

• Switch ports transparent to data rates, formats, and protocols up to 10 Gbps
• Manual control of the switch port connection via pushbutton switches
• Connection state maintained if power fails or is removed
• Connecting input A to Ground for a minimum of approximately 100 msec will cause the unit to switch to the A position
• Connecting input B to Ground for a minimum of approximately 100 msec will cause the unit to switch to the B position
• The A or B control input can remain connected to the ground input
• Durable and reliable. Tested to 1,000,000 cycles
• Manual control of the switch port supported through A/B push button on the front.
• Can be switched remotely via RS-232 or dry contact.
