AmScope ZM-4 Series Premium Trinocular Stereo Microscope 2X-90X Magnification on Double-arm Boom-stand with 80-LED Multi-zone Heavy-duty Ring-light + 3MP USB 3.0 C-mount Camera

  • 2X-90X extended zoom magnification using high-resolution Greenough stereoscopic objective lenses with 10X eyepieces, and 0.3X and 2X Barlow lenses.
  • High-resolution ZM series optics provide improved sharpness with lower distortion
  • A highly-versatile stereo microscope on a heavy-duty, multi-pivot boom-stand which allows the microscope to easily swing into place when needed, and away when not.
  • The stereo optics provide upright images with clear depth-of-field and a wide view for hands-on applications.
  • A trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for adding a camera.
  • This microscope is ideal for laboratories, repair shops, and engravers.
  • Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 3MP USB 3.0 camera. Professional microscopy software for Windows, Mac, and Linux provide tools for image processing, measuring, and more.
  • The flexible 80-LED ring-light uses a multi-zone controller to project either directional or fully-encompassing light.

The ZM-4BN matches its sleek design and high-resolution optics with a brawny boom-stand for demanding biological and industrial applications. The ZM series shows improvements in resolution, contrast, and distortion compared to our staple SM series. This model is especially popular in the QC, repair, and engraving industries thanks to its ease of use and reliability. With its wide zoom range and double-arm boom-stand, this model will become an indispensable instrument in any workshop or lab. The addition of a trinocular photo port allows a camera to be used without the removal of an eyepiece.

Optics

The advanced optical system in the ZM series microscope produces higher resolutions throughout its zoom range, with stunning contrast and color accuracy. The 0.67X-4.5X objective lenses offer excellent focus depth and a large working distance, with symmetrical zoom knobs to easily move through magnifications. 10X eyepieces are included, as well as 0.3X and 2X Barlow lenses to provide an expanded magnification range from 2X-90X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.

Ocular Adjustment

This model does not have integrated ocular diopters, opting for focusable eyepieces instead. This helps maintain consistent focus when dioptric adjustments are not needed. Locking screws on each ocular tube will prevent rotation when adjusting focusable eyepieces, and stop eyepieces from falling out. Sliding interpupillary adjusters ensure that each user can properly align the eyepieces for comfortable viewing.

Trinocular Port

The switched trinocular photo port provides a dedicated mount for a camera. When the photo port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images.

Double-arm Boom-Stand

The multi-pivoting, double-arm stand provides a stable, flexible support system, ideal for hands-on work. The use of a drop-down column allows the head to be positioned at virtually any angle. Ball-bearing provides smooth movement of the lateral arms, which can easily pivot the microscope out of the way when it is not needed. The heavy, steel base ensures the stability of the microscope, even when laden with attachments.

Digital Imaging

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 3.0MP USB 3.0 camera. The C-mount camera is specially designed for use with microscopes, allowing you to watch live images, and record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye strain and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. A 0.5X reduction lens is included to capture more of the microscope's field of view. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.

Additional Items

This package includes an 80-LED ring light with a multi-zone controller for bright and cool illumination using multiple projection patterns. This ring-light mounts to the microscope's objective housing and can project fully-encompassing light, or isolated areas for directional lighting. Whether used as the sole light source or in combination with additional illuminators, the ring light produces a crucial light pattern for virtually any application. Energy-efficient and producing low heat, this ring light can be used with biological specimens as well as industrial.
