T590 Series Darkfield Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-1000X Magnification with 20W Halogen and 3.1MP Back-Lit USB 2.0 Camera

Key Features:

  • 40X to 1000X magnification range for studying a range of specimens including hair follicles, cells, and bacteria.
  • An upgraded model for professional and educational use, with a darkfield condenser for advanced lighting applications including live cell analysis using objective lenses up to 60X
  • Achromatic color-corrected lenses produce high-resolution, high-contrast images.
  • The adjustable trinocular photo port allows you to easily mount a camera for real-time monitoring or capturing photos and videos.
  • Halogen lighting provides bright illumination with a lower color temperature for reduced eyestrain.
  • Supported by optional accessories for epi-fluorescence, phase-contrast, and darkfield
  • Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included highly-sensitive 3.1MP USB 2.0 camera. Professional microscopy software for Windows, Mac, and Linux provide tools for image processing, measuring, and more.
  • This is an upgraded T590 with both brightfield and darkfield lighting. The heavy-duty design will hold up to years of hard use, and is supported by a large set of accessories including epi-fluorescence, phase-contrast and darkfield kits. The included darkfield condenser allows for darkfield illumination when working with blood or other fluids, and live cells when using objectives up to 60X. This instrument is ideal for scaling laboratories and scholastic demonstrations.

The microscope's head is uses a trinocular designed, with a binocular viewing platform and a third port intended for mounting a camera. Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment allows any user to easily align the oculars for comfortable viewing. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, the right ocular has dioptric adjustment to fine-tune focus. The switched trinocular port provides a dedicated mount for a camera to record photos or videos, and is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces. The ocular tubes are set to a 30° incline, and can be rotated 360° to accommodate viewing from various positions.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.

The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.

Halogen sub-stage lighting provides bright illumination with excellent color rendering. The warm lighting is better suited for prolonged use, causing less eyestrain than LED or fluorescent lighting. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. A swing-out filter holder can be used to mount a color filter for band-isolation or to change the light's hue. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion movement for precise height adjustment.

    Darkfield

A dry darkfield condenser is included for darkfield observation using the 40X objective lens or lower. Darkfield observation will provide contrast in otherwise indistinguishable objects by highlighting changes in refractive index. This is particularly useful for observing live cells including blood analysis. With a 0.9 numerical aperture, the condenser works with non-immersion lenses. Two centering screws allow you to properly center the condenser for optimal contrast.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 3.1MP USB2.0 camera. The highly-sensitive back-illuminated sensor is designed for improved low-light imaging, making it suitable for fluorescence and darkfield microscopy. A 0.37X reduction lens is included to capture more of the microscope's field-of-view. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.
