This trinocular compound microscope is designed for biological applications including teaching and clinical examination. The compact design provides a number of comfort features, such as a trinocular viewing head with Sidentopf adjustment, a reversed lens turret, ergonomically placed coaxial focus knobs and low-position coaxial stage controls. LED illumination provides bright, daylight-balanced light with low power usage.
The observation head has a 30° incline for comfort, and can swivel 360° for a flexible viewing angle. The Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment allows easy binocular fitting for any user. A trinocular photo port provides the ability to mount a camera for photo or video recording.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. Additional 25X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2500X, and 6 distinct levels of magnification to cover a wide range of specimens. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The 3D mechanical stage provides a wide range of movement, and is ergonomically designed for low-fatigue use. The variable-intensity LED illumination system provides a bright light source while maintaining a low temperature, which is beneficial when viewing live cells and other heat-sensitive specimens. The Abbe light condenser uses an iris diaphragm for aperture control to optimize contrast and depth-of-field, and can be positioned using rack-and-pinion movement.
This is an ideal instrument for schools, clinics, veterinarians, and general use.
