The key feature of this stereo microscope is that it is parfocal, so you can easily change magnification powers without having to adjust the focus on the microscope! The high eye-point eyepieces provide plenty of space for using eyeglasses with the microscope, and rubber eye guards assist in blocking any ambient light from affecting your image. This microscope is an ideal instrument for gemologists, jewelry dealers, and collectors of all sorts. Note: This unit is the microscope only, and does not come with a light source.

Optics

Two sets of stereo objective lenses produce clear, sharp images at fixed magnifications. This microscope uses the Greenough design, with tilted lenses to provide the necessary depth perception. You can easily switch between 1X and 3X lenses by rotating the nosecone to the appropriate setting. With the included 10X eyepieces, the microscope provides 10X and 30X magnification.
