An included manual will guide you through preparing Petri dishes with nutrients for collecting bacteria. Then the microorganisms can be stained and mounted on slides for observation. Everything you'll need is included.

This kit is designed for preliminary identification of bacteria types using the Gram staining-technique. A process using crystal violet stain, and Gram's iodine will identify Gram-positive bacteria, and safranin will identify Gram-negative.
