AmScope ME580 Series Compact Metallurgical Upright Trinocular Compound Microscope 50X-500X Magnification with Polarized Light 20MP USB 3.0 C-mount Camera

  • 50X to 500X magnification using 10X eyepieces for three distinct settings.
  • A compact multi-purpose microscope with reflected illumination and simple polarization for observation of metals, plastics, and other materials.
  • Use a combination of reflected lighting and simple polarization to bring out complex details such as stress in metal and other materials.
  • The trinocular head provides a dedicated photo port for adding a camera for recording photos and videos.
  • Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included back-illuminated 20MP USB 3.0 camera. Professional microscopy software for Windows, Mac, and Linux provide tools for image processing, measuring, and more.

This is a feature-packed, economical metallurgical microscope with an upright design, and 30W polarized-light episcopic illumination. The plan-achromatic optical system offers sharp, flat-field images with excellent color-correction across three magnification levels: 50X, 100X, 500X. The Siedentopf head with dual diopters and high-eyepoint eyepieces provide a comfortable and adjustable viewing platform. The dedicated photo port allows for simultaneous viewing and imaging.

Change magnifications quickly using the objective turret without significant refocusing thanks to the parfocal design. Using the included 10X eyepieces, the magnification range spans from 50X to 500X with three unique settings. The lenses are achromatically corrected for improved resolution, and flat-field corrected to ensure edge-to-edge sharpness.

Features:

  • An advanced metallurgical microscopy system with reflected illumination
  • Polarized lighting for structural analysis
  • Includes a range of filters for lighting manipulation
  • 5X, 10X, and 50X long-working-distance metallurgy objectives
  • Co-axial coarse & fine focusing system
  • 30 degree inclined 360 degree rotatable trinocular head
  • Coaxial coarse and fine focusing
  • Dual focusing control knobs
  • Focusing tension control mechanism
  • Adjustable interpupillary distance
  • Adjustable diopters on both eye tubes
  • Solid metal frame construction with stain resistant enamel finish
  • Digital Imaging

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included high-resolution 20MP USB3.0 camera. The sensitive back-illuminated sensor is designed for improved low-light imaging, making it suitable for fluorescence and darkfield microscopy. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.
