This is an ideal entry-level microscope, with 5 total magnification powers, and top and bottom lighting. With 4X, 10X, and 40X objective lenses, plus 10X and 25X eyepiece lenses, you can view objects at magnifications from 40X to 1000X. The bottom light can be used with specimen slides, like tissue samples or plant cross-sections. The top light can be used with opaque specimens, like sand and stamps.

Designed for students to learn science through years of continued observations, it has full optical glass elements, metal framework, and 360 degree rotatable monocular head. The light sources use either an outlet (adapter included) or three AA batteries (included). This package also includes a comprehensive collection of materials for creating your own specimen slides, including blank slides, a microtome for sectioning specimens, stains, and an assortment of tools.
