The HD408L brings 4K Ultra-HD resolution to your microscopy system. With four times the resolution of 1080p HD, this camera will provide sharper images with greater detail on 4K displays. Well suited for compound and stereo microscopes, the HD408L will provide real-time video over HDMI to a monitor or television. Whether you're working in quality control or monitoring a long term experiment, you can watch with unrivaled clarity.
Flexible Imaging Solution
A powerful image capture system lies at your fingertips. The HD408L's internal recording system allows you to capture 4K videos and photos up to 8MP with the click of a mouse. The camera can record to Secure Digital media or a USB flash drive, eliminating the need for a computer. Built-in software provides image processing and measurement tools for a complete standalone experience. Alternatively, you can connect the camera to a computer through USB to make use of our powerful microscopy software which provides an expansive range of professional tools, including time lapse, stitching, and focus stacking.
The camera uses a standard C-mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.5X reduction lens to optimize the field-of-view.
4X the Resolution of HD
4K UHD has 4 times the resolution of 1080p HD. The 2160p standard provides 3840x2160 pixels for sharper images with greater detail.
Stand-alone Mode
Using an HDMI-compatible display, the camera can operate in standalone mode using built-in tools for capturing and editing images and video.
Imaging Software
Connected to your PC, the camera works with included microscopy software with an extensive set of professional tools.
