Altelix NFC32VFA1C-RV2U-CWN1 Weatherproof Fan Cooled Fiberglass Enclosure for Crown Power Amplifiers

The Altelix NFC32VFA1C-RV2U-CWN1 19" Vented Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure is designed for protecting rack mountable Crown® Power Amplifiers from harsh environments and tampering. Equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside. Easy to deploy since no wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. The equipment mounting plate features (2) pre-wired duplex 120VAC power outlets (4 outlets total).

Internal 2U 19" Vertical Power Amplifier Rack

The NFC32VFA1C-RV2U-CWN1 features a heavy duty 19" 2U vertical equipment rack for mounting a Crown® Power Amplifier. Multiple mounting positions for the rack are provided to accommodate a wide range of power amplifier sizes.

Installation Note: The max. depth of the 2U rack is 24.2" (615.9mm). Before ordering please check the dimensions of the equipment to be installed to ensure proper fit.

Cable Glands

The enclosure features the unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. They are installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure when not in use. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal. Also included in the accessory kit are (2) PG25 cable glands and a 35mm diameter cable grommet. Their large size can accommodate XLR and SpeakOn audio cables. (Note: Use of PG25 cable glands and 35mm grommet are optional. Holes for these items must be drilled by the installer.)

Designed for use with Crown® 2U Power Amplifiers

The NFC32VFA1C-RV2U-CWN1 can be used with most 2U Crown® 2U Power Amplifiers.

Construction and Features

This rugged enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The lockable door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure and is locked and unlocked using the included removable keys. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet.

Dual Cooling Fans Ventilation

This enclosure features dual 4" vents and dual thermostat controlled cooling fans. The low noise, high airflow fans help maintain lower internal temperatures by allowing air to be either pushed or pulled through the enclosure. The fans turn on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Both fans are wired internally so they do not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure.

Mounting

Four mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure.
