Reactor is most useful in prep-scale photolysis and features tapered sides which assures full submersion using 7825-34 or 7825-36 lamps within the supplied quartz immersion well. A 20% savings in reaction time over round bottom flasks. Additionally, the flat bottom design allows for immediate stirring with a magnetic stirrer and mechanical stirring after only being one-third full. Complete unit includes the flask, quartz immersion well, glass stopper, stirring shaft, bearing and stir magnet. Join to stirrer motor with 8124 series chucks.
