Instatherm® two-piece, 12000 mL short path distillation system glassware, heating and stirring package

Primary heating is accomplished with Ace Glass 12045-13 Glas-Col® Stirmantle. Additional heating above the Stirmantle to reduce premature condensation is provided by Ace Glass 9640-12 Instatherm® flask and 9640-13 Instatherm® head. While Ace Glass 12048-02 Motor/Temperature control maintains the primary heating temperature and stirring speed, Ace Glass 12323-10 J-Kem Dual Instatherm® 40 volt controller provides precise, independent control of the vapor temperature in the upper half of the vessel. This system combines the easy cleaning of a two-piece system while eliminating the premature condensation inherent to such systems. Ace Glass improved 9327-12 distillation head with a vacuum jacket and integral bump trap and condenser side arm is a result of Ace Glass experience with high capacity full bore systems. Product take-off glassware is Ace Glass 9404-20 receiver with (3) 24/40 2000 mL receiving flasks.

Miscellaneous items to complete the system include 6517 product family quick-release clamps for the Duran® flanged vessel and distillation head connections (150 mm & 60 mm), 24/40 and 34/45 Keck® style joint clips, Ace-Safe™ connections for 3/8 and 1/2" ID tubing, vacuum monitoring port plug and 1/8" FNPT adapter if monitoring is desired. If so, Ace Glass 14034-36 vacuum monitor is an excellent choice. If in need of a condenser chiller, Ace can help you size the appropriate chiller for your budget. If you need a vacuum pump, we recommend the Welch CRVpro16 (Ace 14113-16) 363 L/min two stage rotary vane pump with Ace Glass 12188-12 NW25 flange to hose barb adapter to fit 1/2" ID vacuum tubing.
