Short Path Distillation System, 12000 mL glassware, heating and stirring package

Heating is accomplished with Ace Glass 12045-13 Glas-Col® Stirmantle. Stirring and temperature control are provided via Ace Glass Glas-Col® 12048-03 Motor/Temperature control and J type probe. The easy cleaning, two piece flask design consists of Ace Glass 6533-12 12000 mL spherical reaction vessel in combination with Ace Glass 6531-16 150 mm ID Duran® o-ring flanged head featuring three in-line necks (24/40-45/50-24/40) and Ace Glass 6517-27 quick-release clamp. Two of the 24/40 necks are intended for temperature control and charging of the vessel while the 45/50 center neck will be occupied with Ace Glass 6602-03 packable column featuring an alignment forgiving ball and socket connection to Ace Glass 6603-06 condenser. Product take-off glassware is Ace Glass 9404-20 receiver with (3) 24/40 2000 mL receiving flasks.

Miscellaneous items to complete the system include a 24/40 stopper, 24/40 temperature probe adapter, 24/40, 34/45 and 45/50 Keck® style joint clips, Ace-Safe™ connections for 3/8 and 1/2" ID tubing, vacuum monitoring port plug and 1/8" FNPT adapter if monitoring is desired. If you need a vacuum pump, we recommend the Welch CRVpro16 (Ace 14113-16) 363 L/min two stage rotary vane pump with Ace Glass 12188-12 NW25 flange to hose barb adapter to fit 1/2" ID vacuum tubing. If you would like to maintain vapor temperature in the upper half of the flask, choose Ace Glass 12047-28 heating mantle, which will be powered along with the Stirmantle by using the supplied three socket 12048-03 Motor/Temperature control.
