Ace Glass 6546-155 Distillation System for Alginates Assay

Alginates assay distillation system similar to the one described in US Pharmacopeia 2006, chapter 311. The system includes a metering valve with flow meter tube set, 250ml flask and mantle, reflux condenser with u-tube and hose connection adapters and a 250ml gas washing bottle. 5/16in ID Vinyl tubing, Ace code 12679-20, may be purchased separately.

System includes:

• Metering valve and flow meter tube set, hose connection for 5/16" tubing
• 250mL round bottom flask, 24/40 joint, #11 Ace-Thred side port 
• 5/16" hose barb connector for above flask
• Glas-Col heating mantle for above flask
• 250 mm spiral coil reflux condenser, 24/40 top and bottom joints
• U-shaped connecting tube, 24/40 male and 35/25 female
• Adapter 35/25 ball to 5/16" hose barb
• 250mL gas washing bottle, porosity C fritted disc, 5/16" outlet to tubing
