Ace Glass 6474-75 Unjacketed Spherical Reactor System with Support Stand, 200 L

This system comprises a self-supporting mobile frame made from one-inch stainless steel pipe, measuring 90" in height, 42" in width, and 42" in depth. It arrives fully assembled.

The flask features a 300 mm (12") flat-ground flange opening and a bottom outlet with a flush seal drain valve equipped with one-inch beaded drain discharge. The valve O-Rings are CAPFE (silicone encapsulated with PTFE) and Kalrez® for superior chemical resistance. A 100 mm I.D. side port, angled at 45 degrees, is included.

The black epoxy-coated aluminum flask support plate is vertically adjustable, accommodating various outlet configurations, and upper support brackets are provided to stabilize the flask.

The head, boasting a traditional domed style, features seven openings: (5) 45/50 and (2) 29/42. The motor is securely positioned on a black epoxy-coated mounting plate over the central 45/50 opening, while other openings serve components like the condenser, thermoprobe, and cooling coil. The head is secured to the flask with a PTFE gasket and plastic coupling, with a maximum bolt tightening torque of 30 in-lbs. (in a cold state).

The stirring mechanism is powered by a heavy-duty 3/8 HP DC motor designed for non-hazardous area duty. The motor shaft measures 5/8" O.D., and the controller operates on 120 volts 50/60 Hz. An air motor option is available upon request. The system features a 28 mm (1-1/8") O.D. precision ground and polished glass stirring shaft, equipped with a multi-paddle PTFE agitator at the bottom and a turbine blade PTFE agitator higher on the shaft for grease-free operation with an 8067 PTFE bearing.

The cooling coil is constructed using 1/2" O.D. copper tubing encapsulated with PTFE.

To control heating mantles effectively, a digital temperature control system is included, preventing overheating and overshoot while offering an instant temperature readout.
