Used for reduced pressure filtration with 7186 style, plain stem Buchner funnels. Top is tooled to accept a pluro stopper, bottom has a joint. Serrated hose connection has a second ring of 13.5mm O.D.

Inserting the recommended size pluro stopper and the next smaller size allows use of smaller capacity funnels; i.e., in 24/25 size, insertion of 31mm x 16mm and 22mm x 11mm will allow use of 15 or 30mL capacity funnels.
