Overview
Lab frame rods are made of hard aluminum alloy and are centerless ground to exactly a 13mm (1/2- inch) diameter with a tolerance of 0.013mm to insure a near sliding fit with the connectors. These centerless ground rods should not be confused with the cheaper irregular aluminum rods sometimes offered for supports.
