Rugged, durable, 20-gauge steel housing has white powder-coated finish. Double-faced lights can be changed to single-faced with included back plate. Sign measures 12.3" x 7.5" x 2.0". LED signs are supplied with one 1.7 watt LED bulb strip and red letter inserts . Standard style sign stays illuminated at all times, unless the power goes off. Emergency style sign houses a rechargeable battery back-up system to keep the sign lit in the event of a power failure. It contains a 7.2 Volt-DC nickel-cadmium battery - rated at 3 hours operation, which exceeds OSHA requirements. When the power comes back on, the battery system begins to recharge. Additional features include test switch, low voltage battery cutoff, and power-on indicator. UL924 listed.
