Abloy EL466 Lock Case - Euro Profile Narrow Style Outside Handle Control Multi-Point

EL466 is a DIN standard handle controlled multipoint lock for profile doors. Handle controlled locks are best suited in medium traffic doors. The locks can be electrically controlled by access or remote-control systems. Handle controlled locks offer great solutions to medium traffic doors where EAC is needed.

Handle controlled locks can be set to function as fail locked or as fail unlocked. In the fail locked setting, the lock can be opened by handle when power is on and cannot be opened by handle when power is off. In the fail unlocked setting, the electrical function is reversed.

Handle controlled doors are typically used in interior doors of offices, storages or maintenance rooms. Handle controlled locks cannot be used with door automatics.

The product is a multipoint lock with two additional locking points. This enhances the level of security of the product as multipoint locks offer better support to the whole door without losing the ease of use compared to the single point lock cases.

This product is certified according to:
