This is a trinocular stereo zoom microscope with a compact stand with 12" pillar. The stand's base has a small footprint to take up minimal space. The microscope incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality laboratory instrument. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this microscope exceeds all expectations. It comes with SUPER widefield optics and basic table stand. This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images with a 4" (100mm) native working distance. Its 45 degree inclined ocular tubes ensure an easy observation and rubber eyeguards provide further comfort. Its trinocular port enables you to add photo or video capability.
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.
This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for research labs, gemologists, collectors, engravers, watchmakers, jewelers, dies-makers, philatelists, and anyone in semiconductor or electronic industry.
Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 18.0MP USB3.0 camera. The C-mount camera is specially designed for use with microscopes, allowing you to watch live images, and to record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye-strain, and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. The USB 3.0 connection provides greater bandwidth for faster frame-rates. A 0.5X reduction lens is included for use with 23mm-30.5mm ports to capture more of the microscope's field-of-view. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.
This package includes an 8W fluorescent ring-light for seamless lighting. This lightweight illuminator mounts to the microscope's objective housing, and projects a smooth, encompassing field of light over objects, eliminating most shadows. Whether used as the sole light-source or in combination with additional illuminators, the ring-light produces a crucial light pattern for virtually any application.
