The Mitutoyo interchangeable rod inside micrometer makes measuring inside dimensions of different ranges of cylinders, rings and parallel surfaces faster and easier.  The micrometer head is constructed with precision, balance and durability in mind. The sizes of interchangeable rods can be adjusted with spacing collars, and an extension rod allows for measurements of deep bores and holes.
