Advanced Front Radar Collision Prediction Systems, Meeting DVS Standards

Brigade's Front Radar sensor are specifically designed to meet the 2024 DVS requirements. DVS Front Radars are advanced dual-radar collision prediction systems with a 180° detection angle to the front of the vehicle. The driver is alerted via the front assist radar, through visual and audible signals if a vulnerable road user is detected in close proximity.

How Does Front Radar Work?

The two-tiered alert system: Level 1, which uses color-coded lights to indicate the presence of objects or individuals in various detection zones while the vehicle is stationary, and Level 2, which escalates to flashing lights and an acoustic alarm when the vehicle begins to move and a vulnerable road user is detected.

Level 1 Warning

When the vehicle is stationary a red, amber or green light is shown if a vulnerable road user is inside the detection zone.

Level 2 Warning

If a vulnerable road user is detected in any zone when the vehicle begins to accelerate, the display unit will alert the driver with a flashing light as well as an acoustic alarm.
