T390 Series High-Magnification Darkfield Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-1600X Magnification with 20W Halogen, 2MP Back-Lit USB 2.0 Camera and 3D Mechanical Stage

Key Features:

  • 40X to 1600X achromatically-corrected magnification for studying a range of specimens including hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. 10X and 16X eyepieces provide 8 unique magnification settings.
  • A top choice for veterinarians and clinics, this microscope provides high quality optics and precision mechanics.
  • The 2-layer mechanical stage with low-position controls, and coaxial coarse and fine focus promote an efficient workflow.
  • Halogen lighting reduces eye-strain for prolonged use.
  • Includes a dry darkfield condenser. Darkfield observation will provide contrast in otherwise indistinguishable objects by highlighting changes in refractive index.
  • The adjustable trinocular photo port allows you to easily mount a camera for real-time monitoring or capturing photos and videos.
  • Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included ultra-sensitive 2MP USB 2.0 camera. Professional microscopy software for Windows, Mac, and Linux provide tools for image processing, measuring, and more.
  • This trinocular darkfield microscope provides enhanced contrast at low and intermediate magnifications. High quality optics and precision mechanics have made this time-tested design a favorite for labs across many industries. Specialized darkfield optics allow you to observe live cells including blood and other fluids.

The trinocular head can be customized for each user, with a sliding interpupillary adjuster for varying eye spacing, and diopters for both eyes to fine-tune focus for nearsighted users and for asymmetry. The head can be rotated 360°, and has a 45° incline for viewing while seated or standing. Interchangeable eyepieces allow for an expanded magnification range, or the use of special eyepieces with pointers and measuring reticles. The trinocular photo port provides a dedicated mount for using a camera. The port is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces, and does not require switching when used simultaneously with the eyepieces.

The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. Additional 16X eyepieces expand the maximum magnification to 1600X with 8 unique levels. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.

The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.

The halogen sub-stage lighting provides bright illumination with excellent color rendering. The warm lighting is better suited for prolonged use, causing less eyestrain than LED and fluorescent lighting. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion movement for precise height adjustment.

A dry darkfield condenser is included for darkfield observation using the 40X objective lens or lower. With a 0.9 numerical aperture, the condenser works with non-immersion lenses. Two centering screws allow you to properly center the condenser for optimal contrast. Darkfield observation will provide contrast in otherwise indistinguishable objects by highlighting changes in refractive index. This is particularly useful for observing live cells including blood analysis.

Monitor and capture photos and videos with the included 2MP USB2.0 camera. The ultra-sensitive back-illuminated sensor is designed to excel at low-light imaging, making it ideal for fluorescence and darkfield microscopy. A 0.37X reduction lens is included to capture more of the microscope's field-of-view. Our professional software for Windows provides a wide assortment of capture and photo-editing functions including color correction, time-lapse capture, image stitching, and a full complement of measuring tools. A lite version of our software is available for Mac and Linux with essential functionality for capturing photos and videos.
